I have bee working on my apron today. I am experimenting with shape and color and trim ideas. Today was my only day off so I am trying to get as much done as possible and still enjoy the process.

Thank you for this wonderful tea swap. I hope my partner has as much fun receiving my items as I did picking them out.

There is nothing better to look at than a beautiful tea pot in my opinion! I would love one of these! That cozy is so cute too!

I got my fabric today and I'm officially in love. I might have to go back and get some more to make myself a matching apron.
My pattern includes some ric-rac and buttons (better not give too much away, I want my partner to be surprised)
I'm going to experiment tomorrow with dying the ric-rac because Hobby Lobby didn't have the shade I wanted.
We'll see how that goes :)
Thanks so so so much for hosting, I'm on Spring Break and am looking forward to being busy on the sewing machine!

I'm having as much fun figuring out the non-apron part of the package as the apron. (Ooh, the mystery!)

I spent 3 hours yesterday at the fabric store. I just couldn't decide what to buy. :) But last night, I cut my apron out. I am so excited! Sam

The girls and I bought our fabric and finally decided on patterns for our aprons Friday. The girls wanted to make sure they got everything right. :O) I am actually taking a break right now from sewing one of the aprons.

I can hardly wait till the 20th so I can head to the P.O. and get her apron & goodies in the mail.
I love all the wonderful "tea" ideas. I also love tea pots & tea cups & Lavender Scones....
